• offered to individuals having been exposed to a traumatic event:
• assault
• hold-up
• rape
• incest
• accident
• death threats
• war
• peace missions
• etc.
• possibly without charge to persons who are compensated or likely to be compensated (see below)
• rendered by experienced clinicians, after an advanced 2-year training specialized in PTSD
• throughout the province of Quebec
• to adults
• in English, French, Arabic, Spanish and Polish

• Commission de la santé et sécurité au travail (CSST)
• Indemnisation aux victimes d’actes criminels(IVAC)
• Société d’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ)
• Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC)
• private insurance companies
• individuals

A FREE evaluation could be provided to a person who is likely to be compensated by CSST, IVAC, or SAAQ, as determined by TRAUMATYS personnel. Otherwise, at the initial phone call, the person is informed about the procedures to follow to obtain compensation, whenever it is applicable.

Evaluations are scheduled RAPIDLY to avoid unnecessary delays.
